Vermouth, vermut, vermud

Barcelona for the weekend

We’re in the middle of packing things up for our next big move (Dunedin, NZ!), saying goodbyes to all our favourite places and people.

One of those places we wanted to say goodbye to was nearby Barcelona – the location for my amazing two-month Ironhack experience and many visits since as well as many friends.

We took the train down on Friday and came home last Monday. The weather was balmy and the city as friendly and exciting as always. We ate tapas and brunch, drank vermut and cerveza, we talked and walked and loved it.

The sun sometimes seems different there – thicker and foggier – as the heat builds up between the buildings, but I don’t mind it like I might elsewhere. I’ll miss being three hours away from a city like this.
