In mid-October, Teads took all their employees for a weekend at Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. I’ve been on work retreats before: once at Mount Hotham in Victoria and another to Spitzingsee in Bavaria, but nothing really prepared me for four days with over 400 colleagues on a Caribbean island.

We didn’t get to explore very much, instead we had a lot of workshops and team activities; some more successful than others. But, we did get to take in some beaches, some boating and even more importantly some socialising with colleagues we have never met in person.

So long, Punta Cana, and thanks for the sunshine!
